What To Expect
Location
Class is held at The Conroe Art League, located in the heart of historic downtown Conroe. Enter using the central door and proceed up the stairs to the classroom on the second floor.
Supplies
A detailed supply list is provided prior to the start of the course. Supplies may be provided for an additional charge. I am happy to answer any questions regarding the specific items needed.
Class Structure
Every week, class begins with a lesson and painting exercise to build skills and add to your technique toolbox. The second hour is open for students to work on personal projects and personalized instruction.

Acrylic Paint
Choosing the right acrylic paint can be incredibly overwhelming. In this class you will learn about the different colors, brands, and textures of acrylic paint.
Painting Materials
You will learn about the different kinds of paint brushes, palettes, canvases, sketchbooks, and other painting materials
Fine Art Techniques
From dry brushing to blending to color theory, you will learn about each of these different painting techniques to push your beautiful paintings even further.

Being an artist is more than just putting a brush to the canvas. Your creative soul will flourish as you learn how to push past the difficult stages of your painting process and open your eyes to the beauty of the artist mindset.
